The kpatch management tool provides a kernel patching infrastructure which allows you to patch a running kernel without rebooting or restarting any processes. The kpatch tool works at the function level for replacing old functions with new functions using hot patch modules.

This update fixes the following bug:

* If the kpatch tool for Asianux Server 7 SP2 was used with the kernel from previous Asianux Server 7, the kernel was not able to show loaded patch modules. This update fixes backwards compatibility with kpatch-patch RPMs on Asianux Server 7 and Asianux Server 7 SP1. As a result, the kernel now shows loaded patch modules as expected under the described circumstances. (BZ#1503585)
