python-cryptography-1.7.2-1.el7.1
エラータID: AXBA:2017-2421:02
The python-cryptography packages contain a Python Cryptographic Authority's
(PyCA's) cryptography library, which provides cryptographic primitives and
recipes to Python developers.
This update fixes the following bugs:
* Previously, the OpenSSL library, which the PyCA cryptography utilizes, did not clear its error stack properly. Some errors were passed over to PyCA cryptography, which considered them fatal. As a consequence, the httpd service always failed the first few times it was started with the "InternalError: Unknown OpenSSL error" message if using the mod_wsgi adapter. With this update, the PyCA cryptography library now clears the OpenSSL error stack when initializing, and only fails on subsequent errors. As a result, the described problem no longer occurs (BZ#1485896)
* Prior to this update, the buffer that stored the certificate object identifier (OID) was limited to 80 characters in the PyCA cryptography library. Consequently, parsing certificates that contained larger OIDs, for example those produced by Active Directory (AD), failed. With this update, the buffer is always enlarged to be able to store the entire OID, and as a result, the described problem no longer occurs. (BZ#1485898)
Users of python-cryptography are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix these bugs.
